First video shot in HD!

Hi guys

Well this isn't to do with any of the other stuff I mentioned previously and apologies for not doing posts about the filming and editing of this video. This came about suddenly and before I knew it filming had begun.

My friend Lee Andrew likes to gore people up and show off his creations in photo form on Facebook and other sites like that. So I suggested that
he start making videos so people can see the make-up from start to finish. He liked the idea and suggested we do something at his fancy dress birthday party.

So his birthday came and I jumped at the chance to be gored up so I ended up in front of the camera getting a Shotgun Blast to the chest. Lee did gore another guest that night and I am editing that as I type.

Time to do some plugging! The prosthetic used in the video was purchased from Nimba Creations and they have the best and affordable prosthetics online! If you are interested at all in horror makeup, go on their website and you will be in heaven!

Anyways enough of me time to watch the finished product. This video is titled Lee Andrew's Gorification: Shotgun Wound to the Chest. Hope you all enjoy and if you like it leave a comment!

Second Client!

Afternoon People

Well I'm finally ready to announce some more projects I have on the horizon and I'm excited to get the news out!

I am going to be shooting a music video for local band Stop the 64. These guys have been described as angry indie metal punk. We have been throwing ideas around for a music video for a little bit now and it has now all come together. I can't say much about the concept yet as we are still in the early stages, but trust me once you hear the concept you will want to see this video.

I also can't say what song of theirs we will be shooting a video for but what I can say is that it has been described as the new theme song of Wrexham! If you know the band you will probably know what song I'm talking about.

As always I will update you as I go through each stage of this and I eagerly await the shoot of this!

First Client!

Evening all!

Well the time has finally come when I can start talking about work I'm going to be doing for clients! Hopefully this will be the first of many to come.

A friend of mine Alex Guest edits Tattoo Revolution Magazine and I saw on their website that they do videos advertising each issue of their magazine. So I sent him a message offering my services. He's now gotten back to me and I will be creating videos for the podcast section of their website! We will be discussing in more detail exactly what they will want in each video in due course.

If you love tattoos and have never heard of this magazine then I think you should check out the website and order an issue because it is a brilliant magazine that deserves a lot of praise.

Anyways I just thought I would share with you the news of my first client. I will update you as stuff happens!

Welcome to my New Home

Hello there, welcome to my new blog!

This is going to be the home for all information regarding my film making. I will post on here after I have meetings with client's, after shoots etc. So you can be in the know during each production.

To give you a bit of background I'm a Moving Image graduate and to be honest since I have left University I haven't done any film making what so ever. My last project which was a short film for Uni, frightened me from making another film. All that is about to change!

I feel that I should come out of my rut and start doing what I should be doing and that is making films that I want to watch, which is hopefully what you want to watch too!

I'm sick of going to the cinema and thinking "oh my life! Whoever made that film should be shot!". So now I'm kind of putting my money where my mouth is.

I have a couple of projects in the pipeline but I will reveal more in due time. I am also in the process of getting my hands on some new equipment! (I will probably blog about it once I get it).

Anyways, I'd better stop babbling now! As a treat here is a music video I made in Uni which is for the song Juicebox by The Strokes!
